Shared Service Centre Process lead

The Shared Service Centre Process lead will report into the Head of Shared Services and play a pivotal role in leading the continuous improvement for the Share Service Centre (SSC), focusing on current processes across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Master Data and Credit Control. They will need to analyse the ‘as is’ processes and work with the business to understand and drive the future ‘To Be’ processes.

They will also work closely with the teams to automate reporting, ensuring that there is continuous business insight into Key statistics and measures which drive the progression of the SSC.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the weekly KPI’s across the teams, the candidate will need to critically analyse the weekly statistics identifying key areas for improvement, whilst driving the continuous improvement.
  • Utilizing their knowledge of Shared Service teams, they will bring key insights to the role which will be achievable and deliverable to drive automation, as well as increasing controls and reducing risk which arises with manual activity.  
  • The candidate will be the owner and driver of key projects, which include, but are not limited to, implementation of a fully automated workflow tool for the Accounts payable team. Working with the internal BI team they will also deliver automated dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Building key stakeholder relationships across multiple teams will be the ultimate skill and drive for the candidate to ensure that they can successfully drive and deliver the key milestones within their remit.
  • Projects delivered in a timely manner inline with the agreed project plan
  • Continuous improvement on reporting packs and KPI’s on a weekly basis
  • Proven progress in stakeholder engagement and business partnering.
  • Regular reviews of SSC Standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to ensure documentation is continuously up to date and in line with current process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an SSC Environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Proven experience in Project Management
  • ERP and other Finance Systems Knowledge – M3
  • Credica Knowledge
