The SF Risk - Business Intelligence - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Attend meetings to discuss and identify customer needs, and strive to do what's right for our customers.
  • Contribute to designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence (BI) applications and tools.
  • Draft automated business processes and mechanisms to generate meaningful reports to help us deliver on Fannie Mae's vision and purpose.
  • Analyze data to drive business decision-making capabilities.

Contribute to identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems, including developing and implementing requirements for new features and enhancements.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent


Skills

  • Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages.
  • Expertise in using statistical methods, including: developing and testing hypotheses, using experimental design, and running linear and logistic regressions
  • Skilled in creating and managing databases with the use of relevant software such as MySQL, Hadoop, or MongoDB
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Ability to transform business processes using BPA, RPA, or other technology-enabled automation
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
  • Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS

Tools

  • Experience using RiskWorks
  • Skilled in SAS
  • Skilled in SQL
  • Skilled in TOAD SQL database management tool
  • Skilled in Tableau
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Skilled in Alteryx for data analytics applications
