The role has opened due to ever growing international business demands. As a ServiceNow Test Manager you will be working with a team of developers, architects and business analysts for a prestigious German customer and your main responsibility will be to coordinate the testing activities, create and execute different type of manual or automated test scenarios, based on the user stories.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Understanding business needs to be able to define end to end test cases.
- Creating, implementing and executing manual test cases on the customer’s ServiceNow instance, based in the implemented functionalities.
- Define, execute and maintain automated test cases on the customer’s instance, based on ServiceNow solutions (Automated Test Framework).
- In case of negative test results, collect and detail all circumstances, how the issue can be reproduced and notify the developers.
- Taking responsibility for creating clear technical documentation about testing activities
- Participating in Agile ceremonies, assessing and estimating requirements
Required skills:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in software testing
- Have experience of different type of testing (Unit test, Integration test, Functional test, Regression test, etc.)
- Long-term commitment and willingness to invest in learning and working with ServiceNow and ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework
- Ability to work in an international environment with local and international teams
- Understanding of service management concepts, data models, integration practices
- Experience designing and implementing IT and Non-IT related solutions
- Personal qualities: eagerness for self-development, strive for quality, problem solving skills, reliable and thorough personality and a good sense of humour would come in handy working with us, IT geeks
- Strong oral and written communications skills (both business English and Hungarian)
Nice to have skills and capabilities
- Working proficiency in German language
- Good presentation skills
- Experience with configuration and development of ServiceNow Platform
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform key capabilities and solutions, OOB features
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA mainline certification, ATF micro certification or others)
- Experience with programming languages, databases and scripting, e.g. SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS
- Experience in interface design and implementation using web services (REST, SOAP, JSON)
- ITIL knowledge and certifications (ITIL Foundation or higher)
