Guidewire Software (NYSE: GWRE) is seeking an individual to join the Business Technology team as a ServiceNow Automation Engineer. Guidewire serves a global community of more than 350 insurers of all sizes and lines of business in more than 30 countries. We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Engineer, who can provide scalable solutions and work independently and be a good team player. This individual will be also responsible for the day-to-day operations, administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and configuration of ServiceNow tool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and implement ServiceNow customization and automations
- Gather requirements and business process knowledge from various users and document them
- Maintain and improve existing processes to ensure ongoing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documents for future reference and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of hand-on experience in ServiceNow customization, development and process automation
- Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL
- Solid Integration experience (REST, SOAP, scripted webservices).
- Experience with Integration Service with Google spaces, smart sheet and Oracle etc.
- Service Catalogue experience
- Troubleshooting (Experience using the ServiceNow debugger tool)
- Scripting (Ajax, GlideRecord, ServiceNow API etc)
- Following the best practices
- Self-motivated with excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written technical documentation skills.
