Position Overview:
As a parts coordinator, your duties and responsibilities are to maintain a stock of spare parts, quote material availability timing and manage backorders, coordinate delivery dates with Field Service teams, and maintain vendor relations, including ensuring invoices, shipment slips, and other billing issues are taken care of promptly.
Job Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintaining accurate inventory levels, monitoring stock, and identifying potential shortages
Planning:
Develop and implement stocking strategies for various part categories
Create demand forecasts
Track sourcing activities for backorder items
Coordination:
Interfacing with technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and address any issues related to spare parts
Communication:
Providing accurate information to field service team regarding part availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments
Maintain and report standardized KPIs and performance metrics
Quote Generation:
Providing quotations to customers and internal departments for spare parts
Return Management:
Managing returns and exchanges of spare parts
Backorder Management: Tracking and managing backorders to ensure timely fulfillment
Logistics:
Coordinating the storage, labeling, and distribution of spare parts
Quality Control:
Ensuring the quality of incoming parts and conducting quality checks
Cost Management:
Monitoring costs associated with spare parts and identifying opportunities for cost savings
Qualificationss:
3+ years of production and planning experience with highly specialized parts for complex capital equipment
Associates degree or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret product specifications and related documentation.
Working knowledge of how to navigate PLM and QMS systems
Proficiency in using MS Excel and NetSuite ERP system
Ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
Strong working knowledge of bills of materials, change management, change order processes, project data management and technical documentation familiarity

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base hourly rate for this full-time position is between $30
.00 and $40
.00. This hourly rate range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position in the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience, job-related skills, related education, work location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. In addition to a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and equity program, as applicable.
