US – Bureau Content Solution (BCS) Service Manager, SCC
Take a lead role in establishing and growing our new US Bureau Content Solution (BCS) Managed Service. Partner with the Guidewire Specialized Consulting Center (SCC) leadership team to develop and grow the managed service offering, leading the team who will deliver the service and working directly with our customers to support delivery needs
The Guidewire Professional Services team has ownership of a catalog of specialized, outcome based, service offerings designed specifically for Guidewire customers.
The US - Bureau Content Solution Managed Service provides Guidewire customers with easy updates to the Electronic Rating Content (ERC) for periodic bureau released changes to ensure customers remain current with the latest bureau publications.
As US - BCS Service Manager, your responsibilities will include
- Establishing and growing the US-BCS managed service through collaboration with other team leaders
- Leading the US-BCS managed service team to ensure successful delivery of bureau updates to customers within agreed upon Service Level Agreements
- Coordinating with internal Guidewire teams and external solution partners to continually develop the service offering
- Achievement of margin and team utilization targets to ensure profitability of US-BCS managed service
- Working with internal stakeholders to forecast future demand and additional capacity needs
- Partnering with other members of the broader leadership team to develop and support strategic initiatives
- Partnering with the Professional Services Portfolio Management Office to identify, build and maintain additional US-BCS managed service offerings
- Delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives within the US-BCS managed service to improve efficiency, reduce overhead and increase profitability of the service offering
- Managing US-BCS managed service delivery team members, which includes mentoring, performance evaluation, career development and performance issue resolution
- Partnering with other people managers to identify and development new skills needed to successfully deliver US-BCS managed service offering
Required Skills \ Experience
- Experience in successfully establishing, managing and growing a managed service offering
- Demonstrated success in leading a team to successfully meet strict customer Service Level Agreements
- Demonstrated success with delivering initiatives from ideation to successful deployment
- Demonstrated success with aligning teams to meet company and team objectives
- Extensive customer facing experience and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Experience as a people manager in a consulting organization with demonstrated success in hiring, mentoring, coaching, and developing your team (at least 5 years experience preferred).
- Experience in SDLC, deploying software and related tooling (e.g. Jira, TeamCity, BitBucket)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and passionate environment
- Experience with Guidewire Standard Based Templates highly desired
