As a Senior Service Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic design initiatives from inception to completion. You’ll be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams through complex projects, using your expertise in service design methodologies, user-centered design, and business strategy. Operating with full autonomy, you will lead high-stakes design initiatives, while mentoring and coaching junior designers. You will ensure the alignment of design decisions with business objectives, market trends, and user needs.

What you'll do:

  • Discovery & Research: Plan and execute discovery initiatives to gather deep user and market insights. Share best practices in research methodologies and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Value Propositions & Service Attributes: Develop and refine compelling value propositions for products and services, that meet both business and user needs.
  • Service Blueprinting & Architecture: Create and optimize service blueprints and information architecture, improving end-to-end service design.
  • Facilitation & Mentorship: Lead workshops, facilitate collaboration, and mentor junior designers on best practices.
  • Design Documentation: Develop and maintain high-quality design documentation standards, ensuring consistent team efficiency. Mentor junior designers on the importance of thorough design documentation.
  • Lead High-Stakes Projects: Autonomously manage design initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business and user goals.
  • Storytelling & Communication: Lead storytelling efforts to clearly convey design value
  • Performance & Process Improvement: Conduct performance analysis and refine design processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Time & Conflict Management: Implement time management and conflict resolution strategies to ensure smooth project delivery and team dynamics.

What can be a plus:
User Interface Design: Independently design and iterate on user interfaces for moderately complex projects, using user feedback to enhance skills.
Prototyping: Develop mid-fidelity interactive prototypes and analyze user testing results to refine user flows.
Usability Testing: Design and conduct usability tests, analyze data for improvements, and create recommendation reports.
Design Systems: Manage projects while adhering to the Design System, set goals for personal growth, and refine design components for consistency.

 

What you'll need:

  • Proven 4+ years experience working with Service Design and Design Thinking
  • Knowledge and application of frameworks such as Stakeholder Map, Journeys, Blueprints, Empathy Map, Prioritization Matrices, Strategy Building, etc.
  • Solid understanding of usability, accessibility, and user experience principles.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to present design ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience in effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of English.
