SEO Specialist

As a SEO specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing best industry practices for classified and real estate portals when it comes to SEO growth. In this role, you will be working closely with a team of SEOs under the guidance of SEO Manager to bring forward new enhancements and features to the Bayut website.

Your responsibilities will include staying ahead of the constantly evolving SEO landscape and keeping stakeholders informed and refining the SEO strategy accordingly. You'd. also brainstorm on improvements, conducting R&D and analyze data to propose the business value behind each SEO project/campaign. Being able to communicate and collaborate with all key stakeholders is an essential part of the job. Success of this job will be measured based on standard SEO metrics and execution of the projects.

In this role you will:

  • Plan, research, and document new SEO projects/campaigns which are assigned and come up with new SEO projects;
  • Define objectives and KPIs for each project and propose these to stakeholders for their approval.;
  • Communicate and collaborate with all key stakeholders;
  • Conduct detailed QA before execution of each project/campaign;
  • Ensure seamless implementation of the project/campaign;
  • Keep a track of project performance and stay organised and updated on each SEO task at hand;
  • Have awareness of the changing landscape when it comes to SEO;
  • Be able to dissect technical SEO issues and propose solutions;
  • Analyze huge amounts of data to find issues and opportunities. Ability to write scripts and expressions where needed;
  • Perform backlink acquisition;
  • Analyse traffic trends on daily basis with regards to engagement and conversion metrics;
  • Grow organic traffic and leads;
  • Conduct experiments to understand the modern day SEO myths and theories;
  • Set up trackers in different tools for each campaign;
  • Conduct SEO Audits as per need.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably with specialization in Computer Science.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in SEO field.
  • Excellent SEO knowledge with expertise in technical SEO; 
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO tools like GA, GSC, Ahrefs, Semrush, etc;
  • Knowledge on Google SEO Ranking Factors.
  • Excellent R&D skills;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills;
  • Ability to manage workload with changing demands;
  • Able to write scripts and expressions is a plus.
