The Role:

An SEO Specialist optimizes our online presence and drives organic traffic to our digital properties. An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and on-page and off-page optimization techniques (ie. content marketing, copywriting, social media, digital marketing, brand comms, etc) This role would work closely with the marketing, content, and channels teams to develop and implement strategies that improve our search engine rankings and increase visibility across various platforms (ie. Google search, YouTube, social media, etc)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research and audit all Moonbug-owned channels across the IP portfolio (websites, YouTube, etc)  to identify opportunities for content optimization and expansion.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices, optimizing meta tags, headings, and content structure.
  • Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies (social media, ratings & reviews, influencer marketing, guest blogging, etc) to build high-quality backlinks (in concert with key comms and channels partners) to improve the domain authority and search rankings.
  • Identify technical SEO issues across the business and work with IT and the relevant teams to implement solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in search engine algorithms and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with content creators (comms, social teams, creative, external influencers) to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into content production.
  • Track and report on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to integrate SEO strategies with other digital marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and ongoing passion for current & future SEO practices, trends and developments.
  • Proactive and methodical attitude to work
  • Delivering Keyword research & landing page optimization recommendations
  • Maintain on-page best practices for both SEO and performance
  • Undertaking competitor analysis
  • You are highly numerate, analytical and efficient in your use of data.
  • Experience in growing audiences on digital platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK media landscape including key consumption trends
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful and case study-worth SEO campaigns
  • Comfortable presenting to and communicating directly with teams, including stakeholders with varied levels of SEO or digital marketing knowledge
