We are looking for a Sensory Intern to join MMR’s passionate and vibrant team working at our  Kraft Heinz client site in Nijmegen (NL) running exciting sensory projects to help our client innovate in their product categories.

The Sensory Intern will report to the Sensory Manager, supporting them to ensure that sensory projects run smoothly. There will be also the opportunity to conduct an autonomous research project on a sensory science topic.

Location: Nieuwe Dukenburgseweg 19, 6534 AD, Nijmegen

Hours: 40hrs a week Monday to Thursday onsite, Friday remotely

As a Sensory Intern your main responsibilities are:

  • To support the on-site team in preparing both descriptive and discriminative sensory sessions, ensuring that sensory research runs smoothly and consistently delivers high-quality results.
  • Independently run and execute sensory projects from test setup and sample preparation to data collection, analysis and report writing.
  • Plan and conduct an independent research project (around 20%) on a sensory science topic and present findings to client team.

 

Requirements

  • You are available for 5 to 6 months
  • You must be enrolled as a Bachelor or Master Student (University of Applied Sciences (HBO)/University (WO))
  • Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
  • Naturally curious
  • Proactive and forward thinking
  • Excel in working in a team environment, and relish the challenges that brings
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (fluency in written and spoken Dutch is an advantage)
  • NOTE: EU working rights are required (EU Citizenship, studying in the Netherlands, relevant student work visa)
