About the team + role

At Robinhood, we're dedicated to redefining the financial industry. Our Go-To-Market Creative Team plays a crucial role in crafting how our brand engages with customers and drives impactful messaging. We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Writer to join our team and elevate our marketing and communication strategies.

As a Senior Writer on our Go-To-Market Creative Team, you’ll craft compelling content that drives our brand’s message and supports our strategic objectives. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop engaging narratives for product launches, campaigns, and more. Your words will help us connect with our audience, drive conversions, and build a stronger brand presence.

The role is located in the following office locations (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; or Bellevue, WA) which will align with our in-office working environment. Please connect with your recruiter for more information regarding our in-office philosophy and expectations.

What you’ll do

  • Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for various channels, including websites, emails, social media, ads, and promotional materials.
  • Central Messaging: Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to develop messaging that aligns with our go-to-market strategies and brand voice.
  • Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of content strategies to boost brand visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation.
  • Partnering for Creativity: Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other partners to achieve visually appealing and on-brand content.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor messaging, and audience preferences to advise content creation and strategy.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and consistency, ensuring high-quality output that meets our standards.
  • Project Management: Successfully prioritize multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and upholding meticulous attention to detail.

What you bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a writing or content creation role, preferably in a go-to-market or marketing environment.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing a range of writing styles and formats, including examples of successful marketing or promotional content.
  • Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
  • Collaboration: Proven track record to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Creativity: Innovative thinker with a passion for crafting compelling narratives and delivering impactful content.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
