As a Senior JavaScript Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the technical foundation that powers our content understanding, retrieval, and recommendation systems—serving millions of users globally.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with technologies like e.g. JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, JSS, SASS, PostCSS, JSX, Lighthouse, PageSpeed, Chrome Performance, Redux, Restful web services, Webpack.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop efficient, high-performing, and scalable web applications using React
- Optimize site speed and performance using tools like Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools
- Build a robust, scalable web architecture using frameworks like Next.js
- Conduct performance testing and implement frontend optimizations
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to improve content visibility and searchability
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business goals
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a JavaScript Engineer
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js
- Experience with JSS, SASS, PostCSS, and JSX
- Strong understanding of responsive/adaptive design and SPAs
- Experience with Lighthouse, PageSpeed, and Chrome Performance tools
- Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
Good To Have
- Experience with Redux and RESTful web services
- Experience optimizing JS and CSS performance
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack
- Experience with large-scale content or recommendation systems
