Senior VOIP Engineer

Job Summary

As a Senior VOIP Engineer at Creative Chaos, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's Voice over IP (VOIP) systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of VOIP services and provide technical support to resolve any issues that may arise.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement VOIP systems based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Configure and maintain VOIP equipment such as IP phones, gateways, and session border controllers.
  • Monitor and optimize VOIP system performance, troubleshooting and resolving any performance issues.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the VOIP infrastructure, including implementing security measures and conducting periodic audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VOIP solutions with other systems and applications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and resolve any VOIP-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the VOIP industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing VOIP systems.
  • Proficient in configuring and maintaining VOIP equipment such as IP phones, gateways, and session border controllers.
  • Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP, and other relevant protocols.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA Voice or CCNP Voice are preferred.
