As the Senior Vice President of Sales at OnLogic, you’ll be on the Global Management Team in South Burlington, Vermont, managing our global sales team to drive the company’s growth and expand its customer base.   • Provide guidance and strategic direction for our global sales team, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Oversee significant EU sales growth by visiting our offices and customers on a regular cadence.
  • Build, develop and mentor a top-performing sales team, including hiring, training, and coaching sales professionals.
  • Lead deal negotiations with customers and partnerships to secure favorable terms and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Implement and optimize sales processes and workflows for increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead and oversee outbound sales efforts, encompassing direct sales, partnerships, strategic alliances, and channels, to establish a strong market presence and create new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management to align sales strategies with overall business goals and market demand.
  • Build and sustain robust relationships with key customers and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and foster the expansion, extension, and growth of business with existing customers. 
  • Monitor and research market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to make data-informed sales decisions and stay ahead in the industry.
  • Develop forecasts and set performance targets to track the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Global Management Team.

  • Strategic Account Managers: Focus on winning our largest new opportunities with global technology leaders and year-over-year growth of strategic customer relationships.
  • Business Development Managers: Focus on acquiring new business with strategic new customers and top line revenue growth.
  • Customer Success: Manage customer relationships with integrators and partners. Provide exceptional customer service. 
  • Inbound Sales: Field and qualify global technology innovators who are looking for a true consultative partner to provide solutions.
  • Sales Engineering: Experts in assessing customer needs and providing the best possible solution - every time.
  • Sales Operations: Process driven leaders who optimize our workflows and data driven approach in a rapidly scaling organization.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in a senior leadership role, with a focus on sales management and revenue generation.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing outbound sales approaches, complex sales models, and revenue growth through a solutions sales approach.
  • Expertise in guiding and building high-performing sales teams in a technology or manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to develop and execute global sales strategies that align with specific industry needs and customer requirements. 
  • Enthusiasm for building and nurturing strong relationships with key customers, partners and stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Understanding of the Edge Computing landscape, including market dynamics, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Agility mindset, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment.
  • Promoter of OnLogic’s values based culture of Open, Fair, Independent, and Innovative.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field preferred. 
  • Travel to the North Carolina office two weeks every month.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $350,000 to $400,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
