Senior/Head Vet Nurse | Permanent Full-Time

Alexandria Vet Hospital, situated in the vibrant area of Waterloo/Alexandria, is renowned for its exceptional client relationships and gold-standard patient care. We are searching for an experienced senior nurse to join our dedicated and professional team!
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience (with Cert IV or equivalent)
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Ability to excel in a diverse team environment, ensuring smooth clinic management
Proficiency in all aspects of veterinary nursing, including dental procedures, anesthesia, x-rays, IV catheter placement, pathology, intubations, critical care monitoring, and fear-free animal restraint
Solid knowledge of RxWorks, IDEXX Catalyst, and CBC operating machines (ProCyte Dx)
Previous experience in a senior or head nurse role, ideally with management experience
Confidence in mentoring and managing junior nurses and placement students
