About the role

We're looking for a Travel Consultant to join our internal Travel Team. You'll handle travel arrangements for all Builder.ai Employees, including extensive international travel and VISA requirements. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in this field, you will be responsible for supporting both members of our travel team on extensive administrative functions and execution. We utilize our own internal system to manage travel requests, reporting, manage costs, and resolve issues efficiently. You will also be responsible for managing any cancellations and refunds.

You'll be responsible for

  • Record keeping & Reporting: Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed records of bookings, payments, and transactions
  • Visa and Travel Documentation: In-depth understanding of the visa application process and related formalities across different countries.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail to ensure all aspects of travel arrangements are accurate.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to handle unexpected changes and challenges with a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Airline Miles: Understanding and familiarity with reservation processes.

Requirements

  • Maintain meticulous and accurate records of bookings, payments, and transactions.
  • Proficient in MS Excel / Google sheets and adept at generating reports to track and analyze travel-related data.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the management of corporate clients with international travel and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions requirements.
  • Proficient in effectively managing travel operations with a focus on cost efficiency, encompassing both domestic and international travel arrangements for groups and individuals.
  • Proficiency in navigating the visa application process and associated formalities.
  • Excellent familiarity with computer reservation systems.
  • Skilled in efficiently managing and resolving various travel-related issues, conflicts, complaints, and handling last-minute emergency situations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge/understanding of International geography.
  • Monitor and process all travel and accommodation cancellations and refunds.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in tourism, travel, hospitality, business management or related.
