Job Description
- Create comprehensive test plans in line with various product interactions and integrations.
- Perform RLDA activities and provide benchtop test plans for the vehicle components, particularly the battery and charging port.
- Ensure interaction between the products; both hardware and software are vetted for field release.
- Establish test standards customized to vehicles.
- Participate, lead & review DFMEA, FTA, and RCA for vehicle integration.
- Highlight interaction risks proactively and devise methods to clear them or convert them to bugs for tracking and closure.
- You should be able to guide the development of automatic or semi-automatic testing for faster action and wider test coverage across the ecosystem.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors/Masters in Automotive / Instrumentation / Mechatronics engineering.
- 5+ years of proven experience in complex electromechanical system integration and evaluation.
- Must have experience in RLDA.
- Must have experience in designing and/or testing end user-facing products for durability.
- Knowledge of Battery and Charger management systems.
Knowledge and Skills

- Handle complexity and break it down into simpler and/or sophisticated test cases.
- Understand architecture diagrams. Ability to transform diagrams into documents and slide decks.
- Understanding basic electrical/electronic circuits and line diagrams.

- Knowledge of battery and charger.
- Vehicle and Battery homologation.
- Understanding of CAN, RS485 communication protocol.
- Hands-on Python experience. Knowledge C and Matlab.
