We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong German language skills to lead test automation initiatives in SAP S/4HANA environments. This role involves creating and implementing automation strategies, collaborating closely with customer IT and business departments to define test requirements, and managing offshore automation teams to ensure high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in SAP test automation, is skilled in automation tools, and can communicate effectively in both German and English.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test automation strategies and concepts tailored to SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Provide presales support by advising on test automation strategies and demonstrating value to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with customer IT and business departments to define test scope, design test cases, and ensure alignment with project requirements.

Coordinate and oversee offshore test automation teams, ensuring adherence to project standards, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct quality control and audits on automation deliverables from offshore teams to ensure consistently high performance.
- Manage and oversee defect tracking and resolution processes using tools like Atlassian Jira, Xray, or Zephyr.
- Lead and participate in test automation progress reviews and lessons learned workshops to improve test methodologies and outcomes continuously.

Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA test automation, with at least 3 years of experience in SAP projects, including at least one project as a test automation lead.

Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for test automation within SAP environments.
- Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and either Xray or Zephyr for test management and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to support coordination and task tracking within the test automation lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet project requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
