As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you'll join the Technical Support team within Bitstamp’s Engineering Department, a dynamic team that’s building the next generation of crypto-services for our customers and partners.

Requirements

  • Provide expert technical assistance to key partner inquiries related to technical integration, transaction processing, and platform functionalities. Effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring timely and accurate solutions to customer queries.
  • Monitor the platform for potential issues, proactively identifying and addressing any technical issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with the development and operations teams to escalate and resolve critical system incidents promptly.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to find and implement solutions promptly. Provide timely and clear communication to partners regarding the status and resolution of their issues.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring that resources and workflows are up-to-date. Share knowledge and insights with the team to enhance overall technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Commercial and Product teams to communicate customer feedback, identify recurring issues, and contribute to the improvement of the platform's user experience.

On day one you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Support role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Ability to take a pragmatic approach in solving complex customer problems.
  • Experience with trading systems and digital assets preferred.
  • Knowledge of coding (e.g. Python/Go, Django) and/or experience with SQL and relational database (MySQL) is a plus.
  • Understanding of blockchain, smart contracts and DeFi ecosystem is a plus.
