What you’ll be doing:
The Operations Technical Program Management team leads cross-functional programs to safely develop AV technology into scaled and sustainable businesses. In the Senior Technical Program Manager II role you will:
Build program plans and execute them across 10+ functions and external partners to implement and scale Cruise’s commercial products
Serve as an interface between operations and technical teams to highlight scope, timing, and resourcing risks, and discuss tradeoffs and priorities
Capture and track inter-team dependencies and handoffs
Bring next-level organization to the way we make decisions, execute programs, and evaluate progress
Hold leadership team and cross-functional peers accountable to deliver on commitments
Communicate progress, opportunities, and risks to key partners and sponsors, including executive leadership
What you must have:
BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering or other relevant technical field
5+ years experience in project or program management with technical industry experience as an engineer or other technical role, and experience managing the complexities of physical operations
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams
Ability to bring clarity and organization to complex undertakings
Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, including a willingness to speak up when there is a timeline, scope, resource, or safety risk
Prioritization to keep teams focused on the most impactful work in the short term while not losing sight of the big picture and long-term goals
Ability to understand complex, open-ended problems, and adapt and operate under ambiguity

Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry
Bringing a company’s product to market at a large scale
A go-to-market or operations program management role
Work experience at both start-up and established companies
Working on a ridehail or delivery program
The salary range for this position is $132,600 - $195,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
