As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Autonomy, you will be responsible for driving highly technical AI programs for the Behaviors, Motion, and Perception teams.
In this role, you will partner with Autonomy and the broader AI Robotics engineering teams critical to Cruise’s mission. This is a highly cross-functional role where you will be working with leaders from across Cruise including Directors and VPs. The ideal candidate is someone that can align multiple groups and teams towards unified goals and drive progress towards meeting our company objectives.
Ensure smooth execution of cross dependent programs and continuously improve execution over time for our AV Engineering Teams
Ensure consistent delivery of critical projects that meet the companies objectives, identifying and removing organizational barriers to execution
Promote quality communication across departments to effectively complete and report progress, risks, and wins to an executive audience.
Lead and improve planning and execution processes at the intersection of multiple departments
Establish confidence from partner teams to continuously minimize distractions or conflicts and push groups to increase their output
5+ years of proven success leading highly technical (machine learning, computer vision or robotics) programs
Ability to generate crucial program insights through quantitative and qualitative analysis
In-depth knowledge of modern software development and machine learning engineering practices
BS or MS in science, engineering, math or equivalent technical experience
Outstanding communication skills: verbal and written, with engineers, non-technical partners, and executives
Thrive in ambiguity, crafting simplicity and order
Creativity and curiosity: you’re driven to find novel solutions and push forward an entire industry
The salary range for this position is $132,600 - $195,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
