About the Opportunity

The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for empowering Product and Engineering teams across Cribl by scaling teams’ processes and developing best practices. You will be a key contributor to our Technical Program Manager team, partnering closely with our SRE team.  This role reports to the Director of Technical Program Management.

 

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Work with engineering and product teams to establish program scope and deliverables, development schedules, milestones, dependencies (including resources and cost), validation plans, success criteria, track progress, and drive issue resolution among the teams
  • Define, monitor and communicate progress of agile teams’ key metrics to Product and Engineerings leaders and executives along with the individual scrum teams
  • Establish better practices for software development and documentation, assure designs met requirements and deliver high-quality features on tight schedules
  • Collaborate with tech leads, engineering directors, product leaders, go-to-market, and executive leadership to manage and communicate the product releases
  • Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise for your area
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies that are holding the team back, and drive better, more efficient workflows
  • Help drive product decisions to align with company-level initiatives
  • Guide long-term thinking and innovation in an ambiguous and rapidly-changing space
  • Increase coverage of data and performance monitoring tools with a focus on automation (eg. CI/CD pipelines)
  • Promote the importance of data quality, visibility, and availability across the team

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Extensive experience at a fast-growing early stage SaaS company
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks.
  • 5+ years of technical program or product management experience
  • Prior experience as an engineer/developer (can navigate APIs, databases, and system architecture)
  • Expertise implementing and scaling site reliability and data monitoring solutions
  • Experience with the tools that power marketing automation, experimentation, personalization, attribution, and analytics

 

Bonus Points

  • Undergrad in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience with site performance and monitoring tools (eg. Grafana) a bonus
  • Familiarity with data regulations (eg. GDPR, CCPA)

 

Salary Range ($135k - $207k)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
