Senior Technical Product Manager

The Core Platform Team is responsible for envisioning, and building the next generation Collective Health platform that is secure, compliant, and performant. The Senior Technical Product Manager is part of our Core Platform product team and will build the product/platform for our  internal and external customers.  You will be responsible for defining the product requirements, creating clarity and cross-functional alignment.  

Responsibilities

  • Identify and scope business, platform and infrastructure needs and translate those needs into platform product requirements
  • Own the core platform product area and manage the entire product lifecycle from conception to implementation
  • With the engineering leads, architects and CTO define our key platform and infrastructure requirements and drive to delivery
  • With guidance from the practice area leads, create and maintain the product roadmap for our product development team
  • Own and continuously refine the product backlog of features and integrations
  • Author user stories in JIRA, maintain the JIRA boards, and lead planning and refinement sessions 
  • Prioritize feature requests, enhancements, and opportunities based on company goals and objectives
  • Participate in build vs. buy decision-making pertaining to critical platform infrastructure
  • Partner with the architects and engineering teams to scope necessary work and ensure that features are delivered to specification
  • Communicates clearly up, down and across teams

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of overall experience of which can include 3+ years developing software for scalable, cloud hosted platforms and 3+ years of experience in product management in technology oriented domains
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
    • MBA desired
  • Strong technical understanding of AWS or equivalent cloud services
  • Track record of successfully delivering high-impact projects with large teams
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Experience working with stakeholders to make tradeoff decisions and prioritize requests
  • Experience with Agile software development processes
  • Experience working across multiple development teams to predictably deliver value
  • Ability to keep track of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in healthcare or health insurance is a plus!

Pay Transparency Statement 

This is a hybrid position based out of our offices: San Francisco, CA, Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office three days per week (Plano, TX) or two days per week (all other locations). #LI-hybrid

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off. $145,000$181,500 USD
Lehi, UT Pay Range
$116,000$145,000 USD
Plano, TX Pay Range
$128,000$160,000 USD
