We are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to join our team in Milan or Venice. In this role, you will lead the technical aspects of implementation projects, act as a systems expert, and mentor other consultants. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that technical deliverables meet high standards, aligning with customer needs and industry best practices, and contributing to the success of complex projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the technical stream of implementation projects, particularly in complex and high-impact scenarios.
- Plan, execute, and manage your own technical workstreams, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Design and build integrations between our solutions and customer backend systems, focusing on large data set management, and new product areas.
- Attend and lead technical specification workshops, ensuring all technical tasks are completed within the timelines and adhere to best practice standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success.
- Act as a technical expert, offering advanced support in client engagements and providing guidance on best practices.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical and performance issues, handling escalations as needed.
- Mentor and develop junior Technical Consultants, enhancing the overall technical delivery capability within the team.
- Align with your Team Lead about the progress status of current activities and new initiatives to improve technical results
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Background in Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computing Science.
- Extensive experience leading large-scale implementation projects in a technical environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create maintainable and scalable solutions.
- Proficiency in programming, database, and query languages (e.g., SQL Server, REST API, PowerShell, Java, Ruby) and experience with designing and building integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and integration of software applications.
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Git, along with strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both Italian and English.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and guide customers towards best practices.
- Industry knowledge and the ability to understand and address customer technical challenges.
- A strong interest in continuously learning and adapting to new technologies.
What We Consider an Advantage:
- Experience in retail, supply chain management, or enterprise software implementations.
- Additional language skills such as French, Spanish, or Arabic.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamental Certification and knowledge of Apache Kafka.
- Experience in understanding, defining, and translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
