Senior Tech Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work closely with the Product Manager, Technical Lead, Agile Delivery Lead, Quality Advocates, Data Engineers, Data Solutions Architect and business stakeholders to ensure the team is delivering the right outcomes.

Building strong relationships is key as you will help the business understand concerns, dependencies as well as potential blockers and conflicts. In capturing this information in robust requirements, you will help enable a smooth delivery pipeline.

As this role will require the coordination of understanding between multiple stakeholders, this person will need to be detail focused.  Strong documentation skills to support contractual sign-off are essential.

National and international expected travelling time varies according to project/client and organisational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Requirements

• Technically minded with previous Ecommerce experience
• Awareness of cloud data warehousing tools (Snowflake, AWS S3, Lambda, Fargate, CloudFormation, etc).
• Experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or data modeler, preferably in an agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint planning as well as facilitating story mapping for complex outcomes
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques, tools, and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Experience working to tight deadlines - at pace where necessary 
• Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
• The ability to build strong relationships and networks
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities
