The Senior Talent Branding Manager will be responsible for shaping and promoting Guardant Health’s brand as an employer of choice in the talent marketplace. This strategic role will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Internal Communications teams to craft and deliver compelling messaging that attracts, retains, and engages top-tier talent. By creating a cohesive employer brand, the Senior Talent Branding Manager will ensure Guardant Health stands out as an ideal career destination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Talent Brand Strategy: Lead the development and execution of overall talent brand strategy, ensuring the company’s message and employer value proposition are consistent across all channels and align with the company’s mission and culture.
  • Messaging & Narrative Development: Create and refine the company’s employer branding narrative, showcasing why Guardant Health is an attractive workplace for top talent. Ensure messaging is engaging, inclusive, and reflects the company’s values.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with TA, HR, Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Internal Communications teams to align strategies and integrate the employer brand across all internal and external channels.
  • Careers Website Content: Ensure our job marketplace content is up to date, user-friendly, and appealing to job seekers.
  • Social Media & Online Presence: Manage the company’s employer brand presence across social media and other digital platforms, ensuring strong visibility and engagement with target talent.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Develop and execute innovative recruitment marketing campaigns to attract key talent pools, using digital marketing, direct messaging, employee referrals, and talent persona development.
  • Metrics & Analytics: Track and analyze key metrics related to talent branding and recruitment marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent branding, employer branding, recruitment marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong experience with digital marketing, social media management, and online content creation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
  • Experience with employer branding tools, metrics, and analytics.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for creating engaging and authentic messaging.

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $98,900 to $158,300. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).

For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $131,900 to $178,100. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
