Responsibilities:
- Secure Windows and Linux-based operating systems to meet DISA STIG/SRG requirements.
- Manage patch and vulnerability management tools (e.g., WSUS) to ensure system compliance.
- Administer virtual environments, including VMware and ESXi servers, and troubleshoot issues in the network and storage systems.
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to identify risks, remediate vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation plans.
- Provide system administration services such as authentication, messaging, data storage, and backup/recovery across a hybrid environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience managing virtualized server environments (Windows and Unix) in high-security settings.
- Expertise in system administration technologies (e.g., VMware, Microsoft Server, SANs, TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, and MPLS).
Professional Certifications:
- DoD 8570.01-M/DoDD 8140 professional certification requirements for IAT Level II.
- Operating System/Computing Environment (OS/CE) certification.
Security Clearance:
- Active Top-Secret clearance required.
