Reporting to the IT Manager, Infrastructure, the Senior IT Systems Administrator’s responsibilities will include supervision of the daily operations and monitoring of system performance. You should have excellent troubleshooting abilities for server, cloud, network, hardware, and software. Success in this position will come from having the ability to administer and ensure the proper functioning of the software, hardware, server, and network.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the Microsoft 365 environment as it relates to architecture and security
  • Manage Intune management and reporting
  • Lead the design and implementation of computing solutions that deliver a high-quality experience for end-users Manage client facing policies
  • Provide third level support for end-user computing technology Liaison with appropriate third-party vendors as it relates to end-user computing technology Ensure end-user technology is patched and updated in accordance with IO standards
  • Monitor supporting systems to ensure maximum uptime and availability
  • Participate in incident management process as the SME
  • Fine tune and optimize systems to ensure maximum performance benefits
  • Configure computer/server systems, hardware, software, and other applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise in the internal systems.
  • Configure servers, firewalls and switches.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure its proper working.
  • Configure and deployment of new applications as part of SDLC
  • Upgrade the components of the system and update the technical documents.
  • Perform installation, configuration and maintenance of software including operating system, patches, and 3rd party products.
  • Provide support for tier 3 technical issues
  • Provide guidance in infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques
  • Assist in Disaster Recovery planning both local and cloud infrastructure
  • Methodically troubleshoot issues using a variety of monitoring tools
  • Configure, Maintain and develop backups
  • Document processes and systems

What We’re Looking For:

  • Required experience with configuring and supporting an Office 365 tenant including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, PowerBI.
  • Required Intune experience which include the following:
  • Application Packaging
  • Remediation Scripts (PowerShell)
  • Configuration Changes
  • Security Operations (Lowering Attack surface and hotfixes)
  • Update Management (Driver updates, Quality and Feature updates) 
  • Compliance Reporting and Remediation
  • Required Powershell and batch scripting
  • Many years working with Microsoft Azure
  • Advanced experience with Windows Server Operating systems, storage and virtualization in a mid-sized to enterprise environment, working with Windows Server Operating systems, working with Firewalls and working with backups
  • Experience with understanding of networks is beneficial
  • Experience with database administration is beneficial

The salary range for this position is $82,800 to $124,100 with a corresponding job level of P4
