We are looking for our first Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Operations team in San Diego, California. In this role, you are located at the crossroads of Oura Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain. You navigate smoothly between several aspects of supplier quality engineering, from analyzing highly specified measurement details, to participating in creating long term strategies to help continuously improve the Oura Supply Chain through well planned and executed supplier quality processes and part control characteristics.
You will plan, develop and implement measurement methods, control plans, and other supply quality engineering processes to help ensure the part and product quality - all the way from concept phase through high volume mass production in a complex, global scale Supply Chain setup. You gather and analyze part specific supplier quality data, and utilize it to improve the processes, parts and ultimately the Oura products. You are leading the implementation of the planned supplier quality processes throughout Oura supply base. You communicate the plans and results of your work effectively, clearly and promptly.

What we offer:
Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. We are currently defining the compensation for this role and will update this description when available.
