Senior Student Systems Program Manager

As the Senior Student Systems Program Manager at Bezos Academy, you will own the student management system that allows Bezos Academy to track attendance and communicate with families across our multi-state network of tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools. You will select and implement the alumni management system that allows Bezos Academy to keep in touch with our graduates.  You will collaborate with cross functional teams to determine student system processes in support of our school policies and create user-friendly training guides and communications.  You will ensure that all schools, students, and families are set up in the system, and partner with the IT team on system support for staff.  You will manage the vendor relationship, and determine which new system features to roll out, creating change management communication.  With an eye towards continuous improvement, you will also partner with local school leaders to ensure school teams are utilizing our student management system effectively. 

You join a small team that operates at all levels, from strategic design to tactical implementation. You bring prior experience with program management, system administration, and stakeholder engagement.  You are highly organized, agile, with a tenacious appetite for learning and discovery.  Above all, you share our passion for increasing access to high-quality early childhood education in under-resourced communities and are excited to help us improve our student systems as we grow our national footprint. 

LOCATION

  • Flexible in the United States; Seattle, WA preferred.
  • Relocation support is available for those willing to relocate to Seattle, WA.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, salaried position.
  • The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $111,000 - $230,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location.
  • This role includes 15 paid days of vacation, 4 days of paid personal time off, 7 paid days of sick (care) time, 9 paid holidays, 5 paid days off for an organization-wide winter break, and additional time off if required by applicable law. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience, with at least five years in project, program, or product management
  • Demonstrated success in influencing multiple stakeholders to build trusting relationships and partnerships
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leaders
  • History of managing and administering a technology platform or system across an organization
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with job-relevant technology and systems selection, evaluation, implementation, and ongoing administration (e.g., student information systems, admissions, enrollment, alumni management, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic start-up work environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong follow-through and accountability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working in an educational environment
  • Experience working across lines of differences and strong personal commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness
