Senior Strategy Analyst

Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

Melio is looking for a  Senior Strategy Analyst that will be part of Melio’s strategy team, exploring new and interesting opportunities for Melio’s future growth. 

You will be the driving force behind our business decisions, making an impact by turning data into insights and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the company.

Your mission will be focused on assessing a crowded marketplace of ideas and technologies, collecting data and insights based on extensive market research, customer interviews and data analysis and presenting strategic recommendations to executive team members.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business / Strategy Analyst from a technology company or from a consulting firm 
  • Experience in Financial Services or FinTech 
  • Outstanding analysis skills and strong business judgment 
  • A deep understanding and passion for business, data and research.
  • Attention to detail, ability to create a structured presentation and processes and follow through on planned tasks
  • Highly business-oriented mindset
  • Team player, excellent communicator and self-learner

 

Bonus Points: 

  • Deep understanding of U.S. small businesses.
  • Experience in B2B payments.
  • Experience with developing commercial structures and pricing models.

 

How your day is going to look, what you will be doing? 

 

  • Gain deep expertise in our markets, customers, and competitors to shape Melio’s long-term vision and strategic roadmap.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis, market research, and customer interviews to uncover insights and translate them into actionable business recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Data teams to develop business plans that guide investment decisions, strategic planning, and ongoing prioritization.
  • Prepare presentations and build business case models to facilitate discussions with the executive team on key business initiatives.
  • Lead commercial modeling efforts to support the origination and execution of partnership agreements.
  • Utilize financial models to influence and optimize pricing strategies for commercial partnership opportunities.
