The Role
As a Senior Strategic Partner Manager, you will lead initiatives that define the success of our partnership ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and working closely with key leadership, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our most important regional partnerships across Europe and the UKI (e.g., Pleo, Yokoy Emburse and Rydoo). The partnership channel will look to account for 2x our revenue output in the EU region, and this role will be critical in that growth.
Based in our Barcelona HQ, you’ll join a global, forward-thinking team that values creativity, collaboration, and ambition. You will drive collaboration across internal teams, ensuring that our partnerships are aligned with the company’s broader strategic goals and maximising their potential to achieve business success.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead Partnership Relationships: Manage and nurture relationships with essential Strategic EU and UKI partners, ensuring their goals align with ours to achieve shared success.
Regional Partner Expansion: Develop and implement strategies to grow the partner ecosystem across the EU and UKI, ensuring a scalable, future-proof network. This includes identifying new partners in existing verticals, expanding into new verticals and regions, and introducing commercial models like co-selling, revenue-sharing, and tailored pricing to maximize value and drive long-term growth.

Develop Strategic Initiatives: Design and implement forward-thinking partnership strategies that unlock new growth opportunities and enhance existing collaborations.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams across marketing, product development, and sales to ensure seamless execution of partner-driven initiatives.

Drive Performance: Monitor and report on partnership performance, providing regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership for continuous improvement.

Optimise Processes: Create and refine internal workflows to optimise team operations and maximise the value delivered through partnerships.

Revenue Growth Strategies: Develop and execute strategies to drive long-term revenue growth through strategic partnerships by setting ambitious goals and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). Focus on identifying, nurturing, and expanding high-value partnerships that align with business objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and mutual benefit.

Stay Industry-Savvy: Stay up to date with industry trends and the competitive landscape, identifying new partnership opportunities and keeping our offerings ahead of the curve.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Extensive Experience: Proven track record in scaling partner ecosystems.

Strategic Mindset: Ability to create and implement strategies that drive growth and revenue, using both data and market insights to inform decision-making.

Relationship Building: Strong skills in managing relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, with the ability to negotiate and align objectives.

Fluent in English: Native or near-native English speaker, with additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish considered a strong advantage.

Data-Driven Approach: Proficient in analysing performance metrics and making data-driven decisions that enhance partnership outcomes.

Adaptable and Autonomous: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and working independently.

Tech-Savvy: Experience with API integrations and a strong understanding of the current ecosystem and technology landscape
