Accountabilities & Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide strategic leadership for Wentworth Superstore, setting clear objectives and ensuring their successful implementation.
  • Develop and execute retail strategies to achieve sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximise profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to establish and maintain high operational standards, consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure cross functional working practices are adopted and maintained between retail, operations and support centre team’s.
  • Analyse key performance indicators (KPI’s) to assess individual store and overall retail performance, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Lead and inspire the Wentworth Superstore team, fostering a positive and performance-driven culture.
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager and other stakeholders to contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Drive member engagement initiatives, ensuring a seamless and delightful shopping experience.
  • Oversee inventory management, merchandising, and promotional activities to optimise sales and minimise costs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, Company Shop Group standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior retail management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of retail operations, including sales strategies, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful retail strategies.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Flexible hours Monday-Sunday to suit the needs of the business
