Senior/Staff Engineer, DevOps Platform Development

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Building Observability architecture in large-scale and complex scenarios.
  • Build observable basic capabilities around Metrics, Log, Trace, Event and Profile.
  • Build world-class observable products, including distributed monitoring, full tracking, logging platform, alarm, anomaly detection, computing engine and more.
  • Design and develop large-scale data acquisition, distributed real-time computing systems and large-scale time series data storage systems.

 

What We Look For In You 

  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related majors.
  • Basic knowledge of operating system, computer network, distributed system, data structures, algorithms.
  • Familiar with common database middleware such as MySQL, Redis, Kafka, etc., understanding of database design and optimization.
  • Experience in Log/Monitoring/Alarm, Tracking, performance analysis or related system design.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and good engineering practices.
  • Practical work experience, including but not limited to anomaly detection、root cause analysis、fault self-healing and alarm convergence.
  • Participated in open source projects in the field of observability.
  • Possess good learning ability, logical thinking ability, and problem-solving ability.
  • Good teamwork and collaboration skills, able to withstand certain work pressure.
