REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience 8+ years
- Strong working experience in DevOps, with design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support the platform and services.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages, preferably Python and GoLang
- Experience with CI / CD tool Gitlab.
- Experience with Cloud native and open-source monitoring and visualization tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, etc.
- Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment, while producing quality code
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and adaptation
- Experience with deployment methods like GitOps and ArgoCD
- Lead efforts to enhance the security posture of our platform, including implementing security controls and compliance measures.
- Experience leading or mentoring teams is a plus.
- Proven experience in a Team leader role within software engineering
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
- Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
- Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
- Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
- Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
- Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
- Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
- Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
