Senior Sponsorship Executive

The Senior Sponsorship Executive for Informa Markets’ Pharma portfolio is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sponsorship, including identifying new opportunities and developing existing ones across our EMEA Pharma portfolio. This role demands a strategic but creative thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills and a proven track record in securing and delivering high-value sponsorships. The ideal candidate will create innovative sponsorship packages, manage our extensive inventory, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sponsorship strategies to achieve revenue targets, including identifying new sponsorship opportunities and market trends within the pharma sector.
  • Coordinate sponsor activities, including branding, activations, and partnerships to ensure sponsors receive maximum visibility and engagement opportunities during events.
  • Serve as a Project Manager to track sponsorship deliverables across operations, event platforms, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure the fulfillment and execution of sponsorship contracts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Work with vendors / internal suppliers to determine the pricing of existing and future sponsorship assets and deliverables.
  • Manage the extensive inventory of sponsorship assets, ensuring optimal utilisation and alignment with sponsor goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to ensure that all sponsorship activities align with the overall goals and vision of Informa Markets.
  • Prepare and present tailored sponsorship proposals to prospective sponsors.
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the sponsors and the company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sponsors.
  • Monitor sponsorship revenue against targets and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience of coordinating sponsorship.
  • Collaborative worker

  • Willingness to help colleagues and share best practices
