Senior Specialist, Learning & Development

About the Team: The Senior Specialist, Learning & Development will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing tailored learning agendas that drive the Learning and Development strategy and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth at SSENSE. This role will work alongside key internal and external stakeholders to focus on developing competencies through learning content, resources and tools, enabling employees to acquire and enhance the technical skills needed for success in their roles. Through collaboration, they will be responsible for the execution of learning agendas, focusing on delivering high quality learner experiences that accelerates capabilities whilst leveraging Workday. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing learning solutions, serving as a trusted partner to stakeholders.

  • Design, develop and deliver tailored learning strategies through key initiatives and resources.

  • Collaborate with the Talent Management team, HR business partners and subject matter experts across departments, as needed in order to implement appropriate learning solutions that address business needs.

  • Determine best practice processes to align across content development elements and opportunities to expand to leverage upskilling efforts.

  • Measure and assess the impact of content and stay ahead of learning trends, identifying opportunities for enhancements to existing content on Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Monitor and track respective training spend and utilize LMS to effectively capture internal and external training.

How To Excel In This Role:

  • Hold a Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or equivalent. 

  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Learning and Development.

  • Experience with launching and managing a development program dedicated to Leaders and Managers

  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English is required as French is the working language in Quebec.
