As a Senior Specialist in HR Programs, you will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and management of various HR Programs that support the strategic goals of the Wealthsimple. These include employee engagement, learning and development, diversity, and talent development. Your contributions will embody our values, particularly "Being Human", as you work to create genuine connections and support the well-being of all Wealthsimplers.
This is a full-time contract position ending in January 2026.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Contribute to the design and optimization of HR Programs across the business to drive employee engagement, fostering a culture of naive ambition, where we boldly pursue innovative solutions.
- Manage the Employee Resource Group (ERG) strategy and develop programming and tools for ERG leaders, ensuring simplicity and clarity in our initiatives.
- Assist in the development or updating of company policies and other knowledge management tools, taking ownership of our processes to ensure they serve our people well.
- Support the Pulse (employee engagement) survey on a quarterly basis, including system management, analysis, debriefing results, and action planning with the support of other HR Programs team members, demonstrating a client-first approach in understanding employee sentiment.
- Lead the onboarding experience for new hires to Wealthsimple by facilitating and supporting the Wealthsimple onboarding process and instilling trust in new team members through transparency and authenticity.
- Facilitate leadership development programs and training sessions, ensuring participants leave with actionable insights that drive engagement and performance.
- Support other members of the HR Programs team to enable all HR Programs across the organization, embracing a collaborative mindset to achieve common goals.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Research and collect feedback to build and iterate on HR programs based on leading industry practices and the needs of Wealthsimplers.
- Develop project briefs to ensure alignment, monitor progress against goals and timelines, and make necessary adjustments for success, reflecting our commitment to shipping results efficiently.
- Partner with HR business partners, managers, and employees to ensure effective program delivery, anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Communicate program goals, processes, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring clarity and transparency in our communications.
- Utilize HR metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement, adhering to a data-driven approach that supports informed choices.
- Serve as an advisor on human resources best practices and guide stakeholders on compliance and operationalization of employee experiences, demonstrating integrity and authenticity in all interactions.
