We are looking for a Senior Specialist to join our HR Operations team in Ireland.  HR Operations are a HR support function committed to delivering exceptional experiences through the ‘moments that matter’ in the employees’ lifecycle. 

The ideal candidate is a proven individual with exceptional experience in operational excellence, shared services, service delivery, project/program management and problem-solving skills who is comfortable with ambiguity and a fast paced every evolving environment.

Using your strong communication and data analysis skills, you'll effectively collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, juggling and accomplishing tasks of moderate to high complexity and are able to work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You're also able to analyse and anticipate the needs of your team and their projects. 

You will partner cross-functionally and globally to develop, define, and deliver services and standardised people processes. In this role, you’ll oversee the implementation of key services, processes, programs, and tools that enable LinkedIn’s number 1 operations priority, its ‘Talent’ to work efficiently.  

Reporting to the Director, HR Operations (EMEA, LATAM and APAC), you will be a crucial member of the international team and will ensure we execute our vision to “transform HR Service Delivery at LinkedIn”.  This is your opportunity to be creative while working on complex challenges. Responsibilities: 

  • HR Process Management: refine HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee data changes to ensure efficient, scalable, and standardised operations across the organisation. 
  • Operational Excellence: Identify, design, and implement process improvement strategies to enhance HR service delivery, reduce redundancies, and improve turnaround times. Apply best practices and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to elevate the team's operational performance. 
  • Reporting and Analytics: Leverage HR performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to make data-driven insights/decisions, operational adjustments and optimise service delivery. 
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Act as a champion for continuous improvement by proactively seeking out inefficiencies.  Partner with Process Excellence team to implement enhancements. 
  • Technology Utilisation: Maximise the use of HR technology and tools to streamline processes, automate repetitive tasks, and drive efficiency. Partner with Tech teams to implement enhancements and troubleshoot issues. 
  • Collaboration: Work in tandem with global partners to ensure integrated service delivery and a cohesive approach to HR processes. 
  • Project Management: Lead or contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals. 
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training sessions and mentoring to HR Ops team members, fostering a culture of learning and development with a focus on operational excellence and best practices. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years in HR operations or a related HR role, with proven experience in operational excellence and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3 + years experience supervising / leading HR Operations, Service Delivery team. 

  • Experience in a global HR operations environment. 

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Service Now, Smart Recruiters), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools. 

  • Proven track record of leading HR projects with a focus on enhancing operational processes. 

  • Familiarity with change management principles and process optimisation tools. 

  • Experience working in leading projects with cross-functional partners  

  • Experience initiating and driving project deliverables to completion with minimal guidance  

  • Problem-solving experience 

  • Excellent verbal, written and organisational skills. 

  • Good leadership skills with the ability to be a team player & collaborate with others 

  • Ability to work in an agile environment 

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, employment laws, and operational management practices. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop and implement innovative solutions. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. 

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge of methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, capable of influencing and building relationships across teams.
