A Senior Solutions Engineer at GumGum acts as a pivotal technical problem solver, leveraging extensive knowledge of publisher’s integration types. This role requires a profound understanding of the strategic partnerships team’s needs and customers. As a trusted team member, the Senior Solutions Engineer sets an example by handling both trivial and complex technical matters, providing regular training, and contributing to new documentation proactively. This individual excels in discrepancy management and continuously sharpens their technical knowledge. The supply focused individual should possess a strong knowledge base of the technologies, processes, and strategies involved in managing and optimizing publisher relationships, ad inventory, and revenue streams.

What You'll Achieve:

  • Advise the JAPAC Publisher Success team on technical issues, including ad placement, metrics reporting, and discrepancies.
  • Provide pre-sale technical support to the JAPAC Publisher Partnerships team.
  • Lead technical publisher calls for onboarding and troubleshooting.
  • Advocate for the Publisher team's technical needs to Product/Engineering teams.
  • Influence product decisions and priorities for the JAPAC region.
  • Resolve JIRA tickets from the Publisher Support queue promptly.
  • Develop best practice documentation and educational materials.
  • Resolve discrepancies using data analysis and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with NA & EMEA regional counterparts for knowledge sharing.

Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
  • AdTech industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with SSPs preferred.
  • Proficient with Web Developer Tools.
  • Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge.
  • Understanding of ad servers/SSPs (Google Ad Manager, Xandr).
  • Familiar with auction-based ad-serving methodologies (OpenRTB, Header bidding).
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in prioritization.
