Dataiku is looking for a Senior Solution Data Scientist specializing in AI for Marketing and Sales activities to join Dataiku’s Business Solutions team. In this role, the Senior Solution Data Scientist will focus on creating and scaling a strong range of solutions dedicated to boosting Marketing and Sales efficiency with AI. Through interactions and detailed work with Dataiku customers, the Senior Solution Data Scientist will play a key role in identifying domain-specific needs, scope use cases, and build ready-to-use solutions. Beyond initial delivery, the Senior Solution Data Scientist will own the continuous reinforcement of his solution range as well as support user adoption with the aim of maximizing speed and value for our customers.  

How you'll make an impact

  • Work tightly with the Solution Director for Retail, CPG, and AI for Marketing & Sales,  their team, and other Solution Data Scientists to build a strong Solutions roadmap dedicated to these domains. This roadmap will be fuelled by a variety of signals, including market evolutions, the emergence of new technologies such as Generative AI, customer requests for specific use-cases or practices modernizations, and successful service deliveries.…
  • Own the building and delivery of a range of solutions, from ideation to full delivery.  The Senior Solution Data Scientist is entrusted with all activities from scoping to the packaging of the final data product, including standard data model definition, modeling approaches, and creation of dedicated features (plugins, specific visualizations, …) delivered alone or with the Solution Engineering team. As part of these activities, the Senior Solution Data Scientist will work closely with all co-building customers, run detailed workshops to refine scope understanding, manage detailed research activities, and produce all needed documents to deliver scalable, easy-to-use assets. 
  • Be a key stakeholder in the initial roll-out of resulting Solutions in the market: customer demos, customer implementations, partner training, marketing, and enablement of all other Dataiku team members (ie. Data Scientists, Sales Engineering, …). 
  • Act as a go-to person on Data Science for Marketing and Sales topics for Dataiku, supporting go-to-market activities from pre-sales to adoption as needed.  
  • Be an active member of Dataiku’s Solutions Engineering group: support the building of our overall engineering roadmap, contribute to capitalization and technical research for the team, own key transversal projects, and more. Be eager to embrace newer technologies such as Generative AI and integrate them. 

What you'll need to be successful #LI-Onsite

  • 5+ year experience minimum, with deep hands-on experience in delivering impactful projects for marketing, sales and customer management functions. Curious, with a business outcome mindset, keen to close the gap between technology and business deliveries. Ideally with experience in a Marketing, Sales, or Customer Insights function, and with a good understanding of data-challenges related to BtoC activities management in various industries. 
  • Proven track record of scoping and managing data-science projects in an autonomous manner. Strong appetite for data science use-case packaging and willing to develop an engineering mindset: keen to turn outcomes into easy to understand visualizations, explore integrations with other tools, build reusable building blocks, mindful of production constraints,... 
  • Ability to work in a global, distributed team. Strong communication skills, with capacity to adapt level of technicity and speech to a wide range of audience. 
  • Appetite for client facing engagement and proven capacity to deliver top quality documentation and engagements 
  • Empathy for others and an eagerness to share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues, Dataiku’s customers, and the general public.
  • 3+ years of experience with Python, hands on experience with data ETL, cleaning, and machine learning algorithms 
  • Knowledge of Generative AI, knowledge graph or solvers will be a plus. 
  • Experience developing WebApps (Javascript,Dash or RShiny..)
  • Curious, eager to learn and explore, extremely structured and autonomous. 
  • Based in Paris or remote in Europe.
