Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Tester with expertise in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using test management tools (e.g., qTest, Zephyr).
- Conduct regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams to integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with QA best practices and continuously improve testing processes.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and execution.
- Proficiency in test management software (qTest, Zephyr, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with SQL for database testing and validation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to work in Scrum teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, TestNG, Cypress, or similar.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with performance and security testing.
