We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Sales Specialist to join a successful, driven and supportive team within our Experian Data Quality function, covering several different sectors, supporting specifically on our Data Governance Proposition.

The Sales Specialist will focus on cross sell and upsell opportunities of data governance products in multiple sectors and bring insight to the business on what clients want helping us evolve our proposition.

You will focus on growing our client base, securing new prospects, and expanding the portfolio in the data governance market, but we will also look to you to expand our partner channel, running with some important strategic engagements. Within your discussions, you will focus on having the client at the centre of all decisions, ensuring the solutions provided to the customer are fit for purpose and will deliver value both now and in the future.

You will be part of an established, successful and collaborative team who value and support each other to succeed. You will plan your time well, in addition to participating in multiple internal activities which range from meetings to sales driven incentives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Achieve daily and monthly metrics focussed on call activity, pipeline built and deals closed
  • Become an expert in Data Governance propositions
  • Work in collaboration with teams across the business including Customer Success, Pre Sales and Marketing
  • Contribute towards the Experian Data Quality roadmap, providing competitor insight
  • Maintain and share a comprehensive understanding of products, competitors and use cases.
  • Achieve and exceed targets and forecast.demonstrate accuracy in forecasting.
  • Sales experience in a software or data company, with a good grasp on data governance
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
  • Commercially astute with an ability to negotiate
  • Curiosity and interest in building considerable knowledge and be considered an expert by clients, colleagues and industry peers.
  • Experience managing large accounts working in a matrix organisation
  • Demonstrate Sales methodology training.
