We are hiring a Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our team, candidates can work remotely in Serbia, Hungary or Poland.

Position Summary:

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our team. You will work with a team of engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure the highest product quality. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of QA methodologies, and a proven track record in delivering robust SaaS solutions and be able to work independently to solve complex technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage projects and initiatives with moderate complexity.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define the testing scope.
  • Perform manual and automated testing on various platforms, including web, mobile, and APIs.
  • Identify, record, and track defects, and work closely with other teams for timely resolution.
  • Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and security testing as required.
  • Build automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and languages.
  • Continuously improve test automation coverage to reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Advocate for best practices in QA and contribute to process improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Write clean, legible, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Help to support your peers by pair programming, reviewing code, and through mentorship.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions.

 

Automation Expertise:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright tool.

Proficiency with a wide range of automation tools such as UFT, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.

Strong understanding of automation frameworks—experience in developing and implementing them from scratch.

CI/CD Integration: Hands-on experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

 

Technical Competency:

Strong programming skills with expertise in multiple languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).

Ability to comprehend the technical intricacies of software products and translate that into automation test cases.

Experience working in an Agile environment with a deep understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).

 

Leadership & Guidance:

Ability to guide and mentor the team to ensure the successful implementation of the automation test suite.

Skilled in collaboration with development, testing, and DevOps teams to streamline testing processes.

 

Regulatory Knowledge:

Familiarity with Life Sciences GxP validation and related compliance requirements is a plus.
