Contribute to quality assurance for Vendavo's AI Platform through extensive testing, automation framework usage, and fostering a quality-focused culture within development teams.
As a Senior Software Quality Engineer, you will help to keep the quality bar high for Vendavo AI Platform and other Platform services. This position is also responsible for extending the automated testing capabilities.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Exploratory testing of Vendavo Platform services
Test automation of Vendavo Platform services
Analyzing failed automated tests (CI/CD, CST)
Using prepared frameworks and introducing new tools and techniques for adoption
Foster a good QA mindset in dev teams (everybody is responsible for quality)
THE SKILL SET
Active usage of Automation frameworks (e.g. Night Watch.JS or Selenium, SOAP UI) and database knowledge: Oracle
We prefer basic knowledge of Programming (Java, C#, JavaScript), Versioning system, JIRA
Continuous Delivery Systems (GoCD, Jenkins), PostgreSQL
Proven work experience in software development
Proven work experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Good level of English communication skill (written and spoken) - B2
We prefer couple years of exp. with Automation framework.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Experience With Agile/Scrum Development Process
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
