What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to drive technical innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and integrating cutting-edge tools and methodologies, foster a collaborative and productive work environment while ensuring high standards of code quality and maintainability, and ensure optimal performance and security of web applications, balancing the needs of both the end user and the technical infrastructure.

What will you be doing?

• Maintain and develop new features into our platforms
• Refactor and improve our existing applications
• Write tests of your own code through unit tests, integration tests
• Be involved in the different phases of the software lifecycle
• Be active in contributing to technical discussions regarding our applications and their surrounding digital landscape
• Be hands on in understanding all elements of our applications and their Infrastructure
• Help your team eliminate non-value-added work by contributing to improvement activities in design capabilities and processes
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the quality of work produced

Requirements

What will you bring along?

• Minimum 10 years experience in PHP development and experience with at least one framework (Symfony or Zend preferred)
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Web Application Development 
• At least 6 years of demonstrable experience working with frontend Frameworks/Libraries VueJs, React, Nuxt/Next
• Expertise in designing robust, scalable, and maintainable web architectures, including microservices, monolithic architectures, or a hybrid approach
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong experience in automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing) and test-driven development (TDD).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines creation and maintenance. 
• Strong coding, debugging, PHP development, and algorithm and software design skills
• Knowledge of Agile Development tools, techniques, and principles
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform
• Expertise in deploying, managing, and scaling applications in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Deep understanding of web application security, including encryption, authentication, authorization
