Introduction:
Dashlane is looking to hire a React specialist that can join our Web Platform team and act as a bridge with our UX team. You will be a joining our web community at Dashlane with the mission to improve the frontend experience for both our customers and developers.
Location:
You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day, where we all collaborate in the office and have a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding (will be Thursday for your department), and a third day at your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international) for individuals who are already legally eligible to work in the European Union.
At Dashlane you will:
Work very closely with web engineers and designers in a highly collaborative environment
Become an active voice of the UX Architecture Group,
Bring the long-term product vision to life by prototyping and testing UX patterns ahead of other engineers
Play an active role in the Platform Engineering domain, contributing your expertise and ideas to shape the future of our web platform, with a particular focus on frontend engineering practices
Contribute to the evolution of our design system
Improve the performance of our frontend and make it adaptable to evolving business requirements and technical challenges
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to frontend best practices and coding standards
Drive initiatives to improve engineering processes, code quality, and overall system reliability
Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Assess and implement new tools and practices that can positively impact our frontend engineering practices
Lead by example, promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, and excellence within the engineering organization
Requirements:
4+ years of experience working with React and JavaScript/TypeScript in SaaS environments
2+ years of experience driving the evolution and adoption of a design system
Strong understanding of front-end architecture and best practices, including component libraries, design systems, and responsive design
Experience working closely with UX/UI teams, turning designs into high-quality, performant code
Deep understanding of web accessibility standards, including WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications), and other relevant guidelines
Familiarity with W3C standards on design tokens
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Fluency in English
