Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking to expand our Betting Entertainment Tools team in Ljubljana with a Senior Software Engineer. You’ll be joining a dedicated and closely connected team that specializes in market leading betting solutions integrated by more than 400 clients and reaching hundreds of millions of sport fans and punters globally.

THE CHALLENGE:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work together with a team of experienced architects, product owners, and senior engineers to develop innovative and intuitive products. Scalability, low latency and high volume data delivery are key areas that make our backend services stand out from the rest.

YOUR PROFILE:

• At least 4 years of professional experience.
• Excellent knowledge in Java and Spring Boot/Quarkus or similar framework.
• Interest for distributed systems and big data.
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with cloud-based services, preferably AWS (DynamoDB or Aurora) is a big plus.
• Experience with modern event streaming technologies like Kafka or gRPC. 
• A quality-first mindset and experience or interest in TDD and BDD techniques is a plus.
• Good grasp of version control, branching, and merging. Being able to dig into GitLab CI/CD and handle at least basic configurations.
• We are not looking for a DevOps however, any experience with AWS managed services, Kubernetes and CDN providers will certainly help.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
