Senior Software Engineer (#AS-1208)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
- Design and develop new features and functionality for the company’s e-commerce websites.
- Support and maintain the company’s existing e-commerce websites.
- Collaborate with product managers, interface designers, operations, quality assurance, and other members of the project team in requirements specification, feasibility analysis, and production releases.
Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Alternative Qualification: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field and two years of experience in website software development in lieu of a Master’s degree or equivalent.
Skills/Technical Requirements:

Academic background or Work experience to include:
-
Working with: HTML5, JavaScript, XML, CSS3 programming languages; JavaScript libraries (React and JQuery); and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap or Pure).

Working with JS unit test tools.

Utilizing responsive web design.

Working with REST APIs.

Utilizing at least one of the following object-oriented programming languages: Java, C#, or C++.

Working with web technologies, to include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Implementing NoSQL databases, to include MongoDB or DynamoDB.

Working with Cloud technologies, to include Amazon AWS or Kubernetes.
Job Conditions:
- 40 hrs./wk.

Salary: $172,580 to $175,000/yr.
