About the role:
Forter is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with broad experience building state-of-the-art services and systems and leading large efforts to join our Platform Engineering’s DevEx team.
How do you create a great developer experience and provide tools that help create an impact in the engineering organization? How can we pave the path to effectively develop and maintain an environment and tools that empower developers so that they’re able to take care of all engineering important aspects (e.g. providing a meaningful and extendable boilerplate)? These are the kinds of questions and challenges we tackle daily, because we believe that developer experience matters, and we are constantly looking to find better ways of doing things at Forter.
Our tech stack is Jenkins for CI (though we’re migrating to GitHub Actions), IaC for deployments using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform and we mostly code in Python and JavaScript.

We believe that developer experience is about performance, innovation, scale readiness resulting in software quality, time to market, and productivity. We’re enabling over 300 developers and analysts to make hundreds of changes per day, in a frictionless manner, so they can focus on what matters to them.
